Julia Coronella, PhD, leads Tanabe Research Laboratories as Director of Research. Prior to this role, she served as Associate Director of Oncology at TRL. In these roles, she has led research including oncology, protein analytical, molecular biology phage display, and vivarium groups. She has built a robust pipeline of antibody drug conjugate, neurology and other discovery programs, academic and industrial collaborations and partnerships. Prior to her work at TRL, she served as Senior Scientist and Principal Scientist at Pfizer/CovX, and Scientist at Biogen Idec. Prior to her work in industry, Dr. Coronella served as Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and University of Arizona Cancer Center, and was promoted to Research Assistant Professor. Dr. Coronella received her PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of South Florida, and BS in Biology from North Carolina State University.
